I've had the idea of a wintery eurobeat track on my mind for a while now— not necessarily a holiday-specific one, but nevertheless one where the mood felt cold all the way through. I've done a few "Aishu" tracks (the term for sentimental eurobeat with specific, usually lower-energy arrangements— in fact, it was the name of this song's project file!) in the past, but few quite scratch that itch the same way as Queen Of Ice has.

By the way, regarding aliases— I'll be dabbling with "ft. [Alias]" in the near future. I've been using Odyssey Eurobeat as the only one out of requirement by online distributors, but there've been a number of complaints in favor of bringing aliases back. While I can't change what distributors want, I *can* use their rules to bring back aliases like DNA Team, Ken Blast, Jessa, and… well, this time, Mortimer. ;)
