Travis Stebbins - Magnetic Love

from My Life as a Pixel, Vol. 1 by Odyssey Eurobeat

about

When asked to play something for my church's nearby college group, I couldn't think of something new to play until the night before. After tossing something quick together, the song was pretty well-received, and I later developed it into this piece you hear here. I have the acoustic guitar stylings of guitar master Cameron Miller here to add some life to the track.

lyrics

MAGNETIC LOVE
(T. Stebbins)
------------------
I guess there's not much to say
But the problem won't go away
I'll do what I can but I'm not too sure
I've waited for so long, to see if it would be so wrong
to give you the love that I know is yours...

MAGNETIC LOVE
Opposites attract, cliché but fact
Don't you know, I've been waiting for you so
MAGNETIC LOVE
You need both ends to stick together
and you know, it would hurt to see you go

On the TV screen, we see the things that could have been
Up in so many colors I don't know
It follows me around, the point is beaten to the ground
It's okay, I'd have done it anyway.
